Possibly to renotch or cut down 10"?

Had a under bed weld in when first bagged then did 10"....back to static so looking at swapping to stock bed again. Can I cut down notch or need all new avs under bed?

I am sure as long as it's cut and re-welded correctly and has some reinforcing it will be fine. May be worth it to just cut that notch out and buy something like the AVS etc though.

Already platedso seems like weld new cut old out and plate it.
