Alright so my brother in law is in the army and he got a 2012 chevy silverado z71 4x4 and he wants to lift it a little he said he doesnt want to have to get bigger tires if he doesnt have to.

He wants to lift it as well as level it. He was asking about either a body lift or suspension.
He wants about a 4-6 inch lift without having to get bigger tires. I told him itll look weird but he wants a lift that will look good and not require him to get bigger wheels and tires.

if anyone can give me suggestions or ideas i can fwd to him id appreciate it!

i know this isnt photoshop area but if someone could shop a lift itd be cool too

heres the truck

Would look dumb on stock size tires imo. Just level it if he is really against getting new tires.

with a 2 inch level would another 2 inch bl look bad?

I don't really know, but I would think so. Would need to go up in tire size.

what size level kit would i need for the front? 1.5? 2? 2.5?

Best bet is to take fender measurements and go from there. Usually a 2.5 is what everyone goes with though to sit level.

Here is a pic of Colton's with a 2.5 level and 305/55/20 trails

Honestly just measure the fender heights and order whatever kit you need to get it level. Don't go any higher or it would look awkward imo.

im gonna talk him into a lvl and 1.5 bl im still unsure whether he needs a 2.5inch lvl or 2 inch lvl nevertheless ive found a few trucks that have a good stance

only the stance

Like i said over on GMFS, 2.5" level and no more. Truck will look like a retarded monkey with more than 2.5" and stock wheel/tires

bj's

but if I were him, I would just wait. It will look like boo boo lifted on stock wheels and tires. kinda a waste imo. Gather up money, do a nice lift with tires, keep stock if you want. What's the point in going a couple inches and keeping the stock configuration of wheels/tires?

well i sent him an email its his choice idk i told him IMO this is a good stance

2.5 level kit, 1.5 BL and 275/70/18s also has like a 1.75 block in the rear id remove the block and rock that stance (not a fan of the addons on the truck but i like the stance)

that looks like fgt frank from gmfs, gay ass grille, shit wheels...

you are right, his truck, but seems pointless to me. personally, I would buy suspension over level and bl
