Always liked 3rd gen Rams and was in the market for a reasonably truck so back in April I scooped this thing up cheap, has a ton of miles per my usual but runs awesome and everything works.
My needs were crew cab, 4wd, could tow a camper and this met them all plus it was my color and has 3.92s.
Plans are the stupid flip up moose mirrors because I can’t see shit backing up the camper, dual exhaust, rebuild suspension front to back, big trans cooler, fix rust/repaint and general clean up of exterior, recover drivers seat and fix the few issues inside. Basically just want to take it back to 100% and have a clean older truck.
First I put a double din in, what a pain in the ass compared to GM
Bought a giant ass camper
Then I cranked it to level and tinted the fronts 20%
Finally got my new topper window in
I scooped up a some good used 285 Duratracs
Along the line I cobbled some exhaust on it and started buying stuff for the stereo. Speakers are Massive FC6.3 3 way components for the front and Massive FC6 2 way components for the back, amp is my old MTX4244 I’ve had for like 100 years now. Also picked up some 6x9 to 6 1/2 adapters, baffles and an amp kit
Subs will end up being a pair of 10s under the back seat on 1500 or so watts
