honestly, if you put it in the factory location on the doors, and pull off the rest of the molding, it will look fine, posibly even colormatch the red part to the color of your truck.

this was my second plan. but the molding is staying until I find an eraser wheel that actually works. fucking kmart bullshit just fell apart
Do it without one :shrug: I've seen plenty of people take it off without an eraser wheel.
Just about any part store should have an eraser wheel. Hell I bought mine at napa.

napa has the 3m eraser wheel, i have done countless cars and trucks with mine and still have atleast 2/3's life left
is there any lubericant or chemical to put on it to take the glue off easier and not over heat the wheel? like soapy water or something?
just dont sit in a spot for long and you will be fine, the soappy water will just prevent the wheel from doing its job, im sure there are videos on youtube on how to do it.

Debadged without eraser wheel... Used WD-40, let it soak, then my thumbs regretted that shit for a few days after... WD-40 doesn't harm the paint and somehow breaks down the adhesive.
