Wanna Put OEM Nav into Sierra

My dad has a 2010 Sierra CC that is loaded minus nav. It has factory backup camera in the rear view minor, and the nice interior like my loaded lmm has.

Im wanna put my OEM Nav unit into his Non OEM Nav truck...anyone know the ins and outs to it? I haven't taken his truck apart yet so i havent even seen whats behind there yet.

From what I know you have to see if its bose or not, there are 2 models of the factory nav. One model is bose the other is not

Shouldn't be too bad. May have to take it to a dealership to get it to cut on. Remember someone on GMFS talking about he bought one used and a dealership has to activate it per vehicle.
