Hey, just wondering if anyone here can help point me in the right direction...
I'm looking for a replacement OEM fuel pump for a 2002 Sierra ecsb that came with a non flex 5.3 (now has 6.0 lq9 but that shouldn't matter...)

I've been looking on Rock auto but it seems they have way too many options I have no idea what it means.
Should I get AC Delco, or Delphi?

Any help here is much appreciated!
Thanks

I just replaced mine with an extra walbro a buddy of mine had. I don't think you'd go wrong with a delphi or acdelco either. I would have ran an acdelco if i hadn't picked up the walbro

Ah this is for the DD/road trip adventure machine that is my black Sierra.
I just simply want long term reliability out of it, so NO walbro. I won't be doing any more power adders beyond the h/c/i 6.0 that is in there so don't need any thing drastic
The factory one surprisingly lasted me 200k mi., so looking to go that route.

BUT, damn that's what I'm trying to narrow down!!!!
WHICH pump on rock auto is OEM?
They list a few different part numbers as both Delphi and AC Delco for my truck ; 2002 Sierra 1500 4wd ECSB SLE.
I can't pick haha.
I've ordered wrong parts fro rock auto before and they burned me with the mistake, so I was just hoping to try to get some confirmation here.

And yeah, good to see all you guys too, as you can see I've been a member here awhile ever since dezert or somebody recommended, but almost forgot about it.

Oh, and as the white Silvy rcsb progresses I'm just gonna do a rear center mounted fuel cell, no fuckin around with the huge tank in the frame rails!

subbed for online buy results here. im on the lookout for a good deal on a new pump and dealer and 'new' parts store prices are pretty steep. keep us updated!

Delphi or aftermarket...

Carter was trash...and the new one oreillys uses now sucks.

So, delphi or aftermarket, huh? That really narrowed things down for us Jared!
Gonna TT my Buddy who does a lot of swaps/is a commercial parts guy and see if he has a particular delco/Delphi number he feels is superior

well...there are several reputable aftermarket units...aeromotive, walbro etc, I dont know them, I have no need for one

...and all the others are for Flex Fuel, which I do not have...

So what'ya think....????

And I'm probably gonna go with a new Wix fuel filter at the same time also.

Well shit, just rolled the dice and clicked order for one of the AC Delco Pumps, part # MU1613.

We'll see if this is the correct one!!!! ...knock on wood. Not a very educated guess, haha.
I'll try to keep this updated whether it works or not.
