Picked this lil hoe up over the weekend. Got it from sams parents. I fuckin love this thing. It drives so quiet lol. Plans are to daily it/work truck it. Don’t really want to change ride height right now. I do want to get some 22” snowflakes for it and 5% tint and roll it. I gotta fix the steering wheel clunk first though lol

Im pretty sure they did the TSB for the clunk which obviously didnt do shit lol But idk what they've come up with since.

I honestly think I had a fluke nbs. I don’t think I had half the normal nbs issues

Mine was awesome, zero complaints related to the truck. It ate a little oil in the summer and a couple lines rusted out but that’s what you get for a truck with 300k. Can’t complain about one trans after 303k.

My nbs was a great truck. It never gave me a single headache or reliability frustrations. I never even had to repair anything. The only things I did to it were those that I WANTED to do.
I changed the oil and that's it.
Granted it had 70k when I sold it. I believe there were and are many thousands of trouble free miles left in it.
No trans issues, blend doors, any of the common bs. I broke a tailgate latch and that's honestly about all I can think of.

Bricked a throttle body with my x link, but that is a known possibility and of no fault of the truck had it remained stock.

Actually, I was just looking at some photos of that old girl the other day. A good buddy of mine just thought a v215 sanger, same boat I had. While going back on wakeworld for some info he'd asked for I came across a few pictures of the truck. A great truck I should have held on to.

I absolutely love my NBS diesel. It’s higher miles and does need a chunk of money put in her, but once that’s done she should be good for another 220k miles. And I’ll be in it WAYYYYYY cheaper than a newer truck

You know how many times I've seen this exact post here? LMAO.

Eventually said poster gets fed up with constant repair and dumps the vehicle. Then for some sick and twisted reason repeats within calendar year. Lol.

It comes to a point with older/high mileage vehicles where it isnt about the dollars anymore. There becomes a blurred line between money and irritability and frustration of repairs much more frequently.
