Got it running last night, had to replace the coils cuz it was idling terrible. Washed it and drove it home tonight [emoji108]

4 banger. It’s slow AF but comfy as hell. Found I’ve got an oil leak coming from somewhere so have to address that. But it’s running great, ac is cold AF and the radio actually sounds pretty good. Gonna tint the windows, throw some HIDs and LEDs in it and roll

Been awhile since I’ve posted on here, added readylift UCAs to replace GM’s garbage stamped version. Still need to install my Firestone RideRite rear airbags but that will have to wait until my foot is out of a cast.

Lol it’s legit golf for me but there’s the odd whack fuck that occurs every round for sure.
How’d you actually blow it up? Mine burns so much oil I never actually change it I just dump another quart in every couple of tanks of gas and good to go, it’s been run completely out before too by my sister, I didn’t know they ever stopped workingNew heart should be back in this weekend

I didn’t blow it up, bought it that way. They guy “had a radiator put in” a couple months prior. I knocked the lower hose off just by bumping it when we got it in the trailer. I think it was leaking out the lower hose and he didn’t keep an eye on it, let it overheat real bad. With the plugs in it, it would spin super fast in the starter, absolutely zero compression.
Bought it for $500, it’s an ‘07 with 139k miles, super clean. I couldn’t pass it up. New motor for $2300 with shipping, $400 in water pump/plugs/etc. Got it running Wednesday, been driving it since, super comfy, AC will freeze you out, put 200mi on about a half tank of fuel. 25mpg+ and using regular fuel will be a nice change from the 13/14/15 with premium in the c10
