06 intimidator bagged build

No, the LCA mounting points are wider and the entire suspension geometry is different. This is the second torsion bar suspension vehicle I have bagged. The first being the Avalanche.

That's what I thought. I guess I'll have to pick up some strong arms or have some custom arms made when I get ready to swap to coilovers up front.

That's what I was telling you in the other thread.

You don't have to, atomic on GMFS makes brackets for your factory torsion bar arms that are cheaper than that.

Unless they have started, Ridetech doesn't make strong arms for torsion bar suspension trucks. It's only for coil spring trucks

I thought abut messing with coilovers but by the time you get those.brackets your going to have as much in coilovers as you will a front bag kit. Fuck.that

I'm going to be that guy.

I actually like the truck on those wheels. I think the black and machined goes really well with the black and intimidator badges

Would be better on those bonspeeds though..

The wheels are better than the slides he had and better than the ballers he originally wanted. These wheels are 24x9.5 with a +15 offset. Which gives me much more room to play with than the ballers would have.

Took a lot to get him to change his mind. These wheels are going to allow me to run the stock brake booster.

This build is going to be a driver. So I haven't tried to get fancy with anything.

This is the second build in a row that's torsion bar suspension. If I ever get a coil spring truck again, it will seem like I'm spoiled

What wheels are these then? I thought they were ballers?

Awesome build, and performance mods done?

KMC KM690. they look practically the same but ballers are 24x10 +31mm offset (6.72" b.s.). these KM690's are 24x9.5 +15 offset (5.84" b.s.). so i have almost 1" of clearance on the backside and the wheels are only 3/8" closer to the fender than the ballers would have been.

No perfomrnace mods. the truck has been rode hard. the transmission is slipping and the steering was very loose.

Truck is sick. Would u say cutting the front up on a torsion truck is harder then a coils truck?

cutting the truck is physically easier, but I have yet to get a suspension that was install like designed and it work. So that is what would be nice.

Your mean cause on both trucks you had to mess with UCA tabs? Hoping the nfamus kit comes out a plate like the nnbs kit does. But I know on there coil truck kit it just comes with UCA tabs

The unparalleled kit is on a plate. That part is easy. I'm referring the suspension not cambering as it should.
