2013 GMC 2500hd DMAX Build

Thanks for the pic there. Too bad it couldn't swing all the way out. Would be a nice armrest and drink placement for sitting on tailgate, but whatever looks far enough to easily reach tools.

Damn they had the NBS ones on eBay for 147 shipped, but the passenger side listing just ended, fugggggggg
Oh well amazon has'em for 163. Probably get one for some basic tools, maybe some bike tools, and a bottle jack. What do you keep in yours?

i want to get a swingcase but they look kinda tacky for some reason. Idk why I even care because I wouldn't see it 98% of the time thanks to the bed cover. All I keep in the truck is a 120 pc tool kit, a tow strap, jumper cables, and a bag of ratchet straps and bungies so a full size toolbox is kinda pointless imo.

Exact reason I bought one. Only have a few things im going to put in it and it's out of the way if I need to haul something. If it does get in the way for some reason, I'll just take it out.

Hnggg. Dat 5" pipe namsayin.

dp isn't 5 inch... wouldnt be able to fit that between block and firewall.

Alec likes the big pipe :cheeky:

imo, its really a logical storage solution for space that is usually wasted. i have a pair of gloves, tow strap, clevis d ring for hitch, and jumpers in there now. had to haul a bunch of shit sunday, just took both cases out, had full clearance in the bed. might look a little funky, but its better than some huge-ass toolbox taking up unnecessary space imo

Deeeem, I'm striking out with numbers lol.

Did it come wrapped like that? I wrapped my whole dp from top to bottom on my car.

Yeah, I mean when they gonna finally make a billet swing case with flaming skulls laser etched on the sides with color change led bars underneath?? :troll:

I still gotta install mine, it's just sitting in my barn staring at me.

lol 5" DP would be sick, shit even a 4" would be sweet.

i wish they didn't make everything so right back there since i have to do DP and up-pipe soon :pissed:

was your 12 point sockets?
