I had my oil cooler lines leaking and i overtightened it and stripped my brand new radiator so i removed the oil cooling lines and adapter. It makes for better oil pressure and no more possible leakage. It was also an add on at the dealer. I dont tow shit so its not needed.

plenty of clearance. It got dark so i didnt get a chance to clean under it. Its sitting until the weekend where i can clean it and put plugs in the radiator for precautionary reasons.

Small update.

Today i degreased everything as well as plugged my radiator oil cooling lines and tested it out on the highway. I drove a good 20 minutes and the engine never got hot enough to turn on the fans. I let it sit and they came on and went back off after they got below the 200* "trigger" mark. Works great and they're dead silent.

The truck honestly feels a TON more responsive and seemed to have a lot more power. So far the efan mod has been the best.

fram isnt completely terrible, as long as there is something half as filtering it your fine, the way i see if, if particales are getting in there that need to be trapped. then there is something already wrong.

:imo:

It was the one i previously bought when i went by the book instead of thinking about needing the smaller filter for 4wd. So i just had it laying around.
