Dean's '11 Crew Cab Budget Build

i had hankook MT's besides being heavy (10ply tire) i love them.

i have heard great reviews about the ATM

My buddy has the Hankooks on his tahoe (DaleJr) and I had them for a while. Great tire, quiet and rides well, good in the rain as well. I think he has like 10K miles on them and still loves them, wearing very well too

I've heard bad about Atturo. Do not want. Hankook would be my choice of the 3

Edit: not my experience with them but a friend of mine had them and they were just loud, not wearing like wanted and rough riding on a 20" rim. Not sure about 22

Like 15 guys at work run Hankook ATMs and all have been very happy with them
Thanks for the input guys, seems like the hankooks would be the way to go. Also wanted to throw out that I've still been bouncing around the idea of switching to a 17/33 setup. There's a set of nnbs GMC 17s for trade local and I'm highly considering it. As much as I love the 22s, tires for the 17s would be cheaper and ride a ton better.

Good to hear. What tires did you all go with?

After dealing with all the issues with bending wheels, I decided to move on to a different setup. A member made me a hell of a deal on some nnbs gmc 17s and I found a great deal local on some 285/70/17 terra grapplers, so I went with it. All said and done I'm only $400 into this setup. The wheels need some attention, but that will be addressed later. I got it all put on the truck today and I'm extremely pleased with how it turned out. I'll clean it up better soon, but here's some pics for now.

Just went through the last 15 or so pages. You need to just get a tank to drive :rofltank: I now remember the donk phase, looks much more proportional now.

I wanted to stuff 285s when I had these wheels. Still one of my favorite wheels. I like the donk look. But this looks great man

Big tire on 17s and 18s is the way to go imo. After having 20s looking forward to more sidewall.

live from the gutter trash.
