Hey there, I'm Chad form Fort Worth, Texas. I have owned a few custom vehicles. Right now I'm building my 3rd dually. This one is a 93 with a 454, bagged with a 04 GMC front clip. We are gonna mini back-half it soon and then bodydrop it, redo the full interior as well as paint and body. Here's a pic of how it looks right now.

Personally I'd get an HD hood and section the front bumper a couple of inches.
 
Here's the 3 I have had so far. This is when the white one had the old front end. Swapped front ends yesterday.
 
I was going to section it, but we are going to run fender flares on the front like Duck's dually
 
We haven't committed 100% yet, still have some things to button up on it. Its the 04 front clip that has been graphed onto the 93 parts.
 
Interested to see how it turns out. Maybe now there may be more interest for DFW meets since all these other fuckers have started flaking...
 
yeah I was trying to make some but never worked with my schedule. now there are none, especially since DFWMinis is over
 
Really the only thing that goes on out here is LS1tech meets, but no point in me going out there, no one cares about a low/slow truck. I know Ft. Worth has meets, like Beach St. or some shit like that, but that's too far of a drive to just go for an hour or two, and not know anyone.
 
We used to do our own "mini-meets", many would come over here, I would bbq, and we would wrench or drink. But I am pretty far out form most, so it's a pain for people to drive, and we always had a hard time finding a spot to meet. We did 5 or so meets and that's about it.
