RCSB Derpamax Build

Yeah 03+ everything runs through the BCM. You may have to get it reprogrammed for the power seats.

For example, if I wanted to add power everything to my truck, I'd need a new dash harness and a new BCM that's programmed for power options because I have none.

I'm using the BCM and entire dash harness that runs to the fuse block under the hood from a Z71 Suburban, so the BCM shouldn't need to be reflashed.

Maybe I'm just a dumbass and a fuse is blown.

Ha, it seemed easier. I gutted the interior and got it for 550 bucks. BRB grabbing everything I can.

I have 6 of those dash pockets that go next to the A/C controls lmao.

Also grabbed a could double din dash pieces so I can experiment with the ipad mini placement a bit or I screw up majorly.

Hmm, that's weird then. I'd say ask whoever you said you'd ask if they're knowledgeable about these interiors.

Throttle position sensor went in the acceleration pedal yesterday so I was driving around in limp mode clearing the code so I could drive around more than 28mph. Replaced the pedal today, changed the oil, and built myself an incognito winter front since a 2500HD front won't fit my truck since I raised the bumper up.

Used cardboard, covered it it 8oz filter fabric I use behind boulder walls so it blends in. Truck actually gets up past 160 degrees now :corny:

is it worth doing this with gas truck ? or will it make it over heat ?

I would guess it'd be alright up there in funny money land, as cold as it is up there. My car doesn't get near what it used to temp wise now and it's not even that cold yet, might havta consider blocking a portion of my radiator off later in the season. Stupid aluminum block...

Forgot to put these in here.

Recovered the headliner. Rewired the overhead light into the overhead console, modified the liner for tahoe z71 visors. Mounted the autoclimate sensor too.

I don't know why the headliner did what it did but whatever, I might put some heat to the wrinkles again and push them out. That headiner is beat though.

Thinking about going with a 5 ch amp or maybe a 3? Anyone have any suggestions?

:corny: Holy shit your truck looks awesome.

What did you do for an enclosure? Behind the seat?
thanks. as is yours.
the enclosure is full length ported enclosure with the sub behind the driver seat and the port behind the passenger. 500/5 is under the passenger seat and the 6.5's 5.25's and 1" tweeter are all in the door behind the factory speaker grille.

Marc don't run your damn heater at full blast until you're at operating temp. I never have any issues and it's typically colder up here.

Sent from my igloo using my SGS4 eh.

it starts fine just doesn't get up to operating temp till i am almost at work....

You could slide a piece of cardboard between the condenser and rad. Doesn't have to be the whole length.
