Train horns

Got some information from a guy on a train horn forum about measurements, etc.

"ear2ear"-Yes, the mounting flange with the bolt holes is 4" across.

The manifold is approx 4 1/8" tall.
The flare on a #1 bell is about 7 3/4" diameter.
When you put the #1 bell on a manifold the overall height from base of manifold to tip of the bell is 9.906" (by the math). That's between 9 7/8" & 9 15/16".

I'm not sure where they got 9.25"...

I haven't made a CAD drawing of the manifold, but here are the bells:

I wouldn't have anywhere to mount mine considering I plan on getting a new tank that mounts in that location but maybe could put in old gas tank location.

They are badass but definitely take up some space. Dude still has this one but I'm still debating on it with the space and money it would take to get in. Do want it though! Working a deal on some leather though so not sure if I should pull trigger.

Train horns aren't tacky or redneck, that's why people arent saying that.

Sirens on the other hand..........

Nailed it lol....spent my train horn money on seats though so might be awhile now before I get one.
