Got rid of what was left of the lightning my buddy parted out sunday. Using the Denali My other buddy bought for parts, and His Denali clipped 8.1L....


Modded the stock valve covers.

Those valve covers look great. Did you just weld them and smooth it to fill the holes?

I cut off the 2 extra pedastals, theyre countersunk into the VC, so I had someone at work fill them, and ground over iwth a flap disc. Didnt get totally smooth, but it was free, and I wasnt going to keep bothering them to fill and grind until I got it perfect, since its DD lol I ground off casting marks around the edges and things too. Just because.

Cant keep a 4wd this low and actually drive it lol. The trans crossmember is about 1/2" off the ground. Lol
