Ok maybe not.

Brett invited me.

Anyway, I recognize a good amount of names here from my days over at FSC/GMFS/GMT400, so some of you might remember me as well. Probably more-so for my 88 than anything.

Here is my baby: 88 GMC K1500 RCSS. Bought new by my grandparents in 88. It's been through a lot obviously, and now sits with a mild TBI454, NV4500, NP241 and SAS with a D44 and 14FF.

I also have this little number, 02 GMC K1500 "Hot Truck". Yes, the RPO is HOT and stands for HOT TRUCK. It was a package gm offered in 01 and 02. This one was also bought new by my family. It's a 4.8L auto. I lowered it 3/5, and it is 4wd BTW. I've been planning to sell it but still have this nagging in the back of my head to AWD and turbo it.....

And the current star of my show, 98 "GMChevy" K3500 454 NV4500 truck. Bought 100% stock, used from the original owner. I've added a bunch of little things, camper brackets, did a block and crank and the 255s with weld wheels.

Since my arm was twisted  i will see about coming around, probably will make a better backstory and build thread of the dually and hopefully my stepside once i get back to wrenching on it.

welcome, i remember you from gmt400, did not know you put a supercharger on the pig tho. :hng:

That I did, I bought a used kit awhile back, threw it on and the compressor locked up. Have had some issues with it and ended up with another compressor. Still need to send the other in for a rebuild and work it out with the seller.

Yup. I'm surprised I never ran across this forum sooner, since it isn't truck specific though it's not a surprise.

you replaced the 6.5 witha 454?

and the camper with a bed camper?

and glad you came over, i loved your build threads. one of the few threads i miss from GMFS
Yup, I sold off the 6.5L a few years back, towed the nomad trailer with the 88 after dropping a 454 and 14FF in it, wore it the out, then picked up the dually and camper, and sold the nomad trailer. I've kept a good build thread on the dually on the other forums. I'll try posting up something more about it today.

dfw that dually, you have any fancy supporting mods done besides the pro-charger?

also dually needs small SAS.

Thanks guys!

Trust was re-tuned and has larger injectors to support the whipple, nothing else. It was designed to run 6PSI on a stock motor, so that is where it's at currently. I need to keep it driveable/reliable as most of it's driving is hauling the camper.

And a SAS would be awesome, but there isn't anything wrong with the IFS to my uses. It rides better anyway.
