Entered my '08 into a car show & won!

Local car club puts on a big show every year around the first part of March. Lots of entries, lots of vendors, big turnout every year. Got my pickup into the show and worked all last week on getting it cleaned up and ready for it. Got first place for "Contemporary Custom" in the Truck category.

Didn't take a bunch of pictures of the other vehicles there, but did of the '65 GTO that won Best of Show. Winner got a $3,000 cash prize and the 6ft. tall trophy as pictured...

One other vehicle that stood out for me was this '51 GMC bagged with a twin turbo'ed Cummins 4BT with propane injection. Thing was sick IMO

Thanks a lot guys. Appreciate it. I had intentions of shaving my tailgate handle, getting it refinished and Rhino Lining the inside of the gate but didn't have time. I'd also like to build up some traction bars for the rear. I may powder those and the kicker braces a metallic red to match up with the interior plastics.
 
Yea I was in a hurry that day and couldn't get anyone to help me so I said screw it, I'll haul it. I worked on it at my uncles shop and the 400 feet of his driveway to the highway was muddy and the streets in town were wet, so I'm glad I hauled it.
