Getting emblems for truck...

Im having the guys at emblempros make me a custom emblem for my truck and weve got everything decided but the size... I was thinking like 1" 10/16 tall and like 3"-4" long... but I dont know. What are your guys opinions on size? Location will be bottom left side of tailgate and might have some smaller ones made later on for pillars. This is what he's making me...

It will have mirror finish around outside of all letters and a brushed inside and the X will either be red or black still undecided.

I like them! I like the pillar badge, I was actually of thinking of putting the bigger GM emblem on mine but I like this better! Would you be able to get another set made? Pm the price if you could!
 
Is the plan... truck has 158,000 on stock everything. And im done spending money on anything besides exterior, interior and suspension. The motor and trans will probably blow soon and then will come the LQ9 and 4L80e... :numsayin:

hell yeah. better start the performance mods by adding a few emblems letting people know what you wanna do to the truck. :crazy:
 
Alright guys forget it then... LS is the type engine I have, the X can mean its any of the above engines. I asked for opinions on size and color not your permission on whether or not my truck has it. My god james has a vortecmax emblem on his 4.8 and you never hear this much whining. Yall sound like fgtgmfs with all your comments but no help.

Either way, no matter what anyone says im getting the emblem made ive been emailing back and forth for week and a half now trying to get everything squared away its still what I want... this is the back of truck with exception of the handle being shaved when my relocator kit gets here in a few days. Once painted it will sit lower left bottom.

get it the same size of the GMC emblem that come on the tailgates, nothing larger, have some read in it imo

Problem? Yeah, my body is still in shock over how easy it is to make you rage on the internet. Also, yes, fapbox isnt showing up and one of my helpful threads mysteriously disappeared, look into that and get back to me - thanks kiddo.

maybe just a touch taller on the badge, like 1.25-1.5" im thinking. and not quite sure on the color; red with taillights, or black with both rear caps? hm

Thats what I tried to do jared but can't find a nbs gmc emblem to measure only my bosses nnbs gmc and it looks to be to big... can you measure yours for me tomorrow?

i had a nbs gmc emblem sitting on top of the door frame in my room for several months i coulda measured right now, but just sold it to Slicksierra a few weeks ago :shrug:
