Does your hood ever so slightly curve down right on the outside edge? I finished welding mine and the chevy curve doesn't quite match the gmc fenders there

Yes it does. The edges of the Chevy hood are ever so slightly different, I mentioned above that raising the rubber hood bumpers threw off the alignment with respect to the fenders. Without significant massaging during the bodywork phase, most of the edges of the HD hood won't line up perfectly with the GMC fenders/front grille.

What are Yal cutting and rolling the hoods with

mine was cut and then welded together, couldnt get mine to roll nicely.

mine was actually sanded away with a course grit air grinder

Never thought of that
