LCA vs Spindle

^what he said! I heard people have trouble aligning there trucks with control arms, so spindles :imo:

I got the upper and lower arms and the belltech struts in the front of mine sitting at 6" drop. My alignment in the front is -.3 camber and thats the best I could do. but :aintmad:

Soooooooooooo could I go 3" arms, adjustable struts, then a flip kit and hangers.

Then adjust the struts lower and add a block (?) in the rear later on with a notch to go lower?

Yours is a nnbs right? If so do what I did, start off with a 4/7 with the DJM arms and when you are ready to go lower just add the struts. Simple.

My rear setup is 6" flip, 2" shackle, 2" block, and a notch. Just use what you need for as low as you want.

Wow those trucks are beautiful. Yours was the reason I decided to dive into this project. Thanks for the info.

ive sold numerous sets of arms. Sad thing is the resellers are not including camber locks and trucks wont align.

Ive been doing these kits since late 99 ive never had one truck not align that ive done or sold kits to.

on the 07 ups 4 inch a arms and spinldes for 6 no issues
if you want 5 3 inch a arms and spindles no issues

Heres one of the 5/8 trucks I did aligned fine and used the djm set up

I hear both good and bad and i install and sell spindles/springs also. Honestly I like both one thing though most customers hate losing turning radius of spindles.

Yea im deff gonna do the 4" arms so I can go from 4/7 to 6/9 pretty easily.

So do you advise against the Belltech lowering struts?

For the time being, im gonna run the 4/7. My job has me driving in and out of rock quarries and id hate to tell my boss I couldn't drive to the job lol.

Next order of business; what size tire would be ideal for a 4/7 on stock 17s? Right now I think it has 265/70R17.

djm 4/7. It comes with both upper/lowers from djm in front and i use that prob 7 out of 10 trucks us spindles/drop struts and camber bushings. Comes out cheaper also. If the truck has high miles on it thats when i install front drop struts and spindles to start the customer out fresh.

It has 65,000 miles. The front end feels tight and firm (insert pedo joke here).

I've pretty much settled on the DJM 4/7.

Just trying to figure up labor and tire costs now.

no prob jsut hollar if your interested in pricing. You will also need rear shorter shocks.
