Marc's 2007 silverado classic ccsb 4x4 1500 GFX limited canadian edition

:shake: those were part of the plan for 04, those arms, their shock towers, mini packs, 2.0 fox resis, glass fenders, 315/70s, 17x9 renegades

this is sorta the plan for my truck...i was thinking 18x10 method stadarts and 33" a/t. will decide on shocks and stuff when i start collecting parts :shake:

also planning on building my own bumpers eventually just to get good departure angles. i think they will end up beeing cm'd tube bumpers powdercoated silver birch with brushed stainless splash guard type stuff so they aren't see through bumpers

will also try get a hidden winch behind it hopefully only ever to be used for recovery's.

Can't believe ur gonna take this nice truck and turn it into a dune masher....

its not going to get beat dont worry, also there isnt much dunes unless i go to Oregon.

mostly going to be used like sams 4runner.

there is a lot of logging roads, and cool trails to take a truck on, with plenty of room to not scratch the paint and such.

there are a few guys with f150 tacomas and 4runners that i would like to go camping with up in the mountains.

the only reasons for bumpers is that there is real steep departure angles on the washouts and the last thing i want to do is bend the bumper into the hood grill and fenders and have to replace all of them.

okay so i figured before i go spend money on making it capable i would do some maintenance.

bought the following:
mobile1 5w30
mobile1 oil filter
synthetic royal purple 75w90 for rear end.
dex6 transmission fluid + deep trans filter.
synthetic 75w90 for front diff
spark plugs + wires
Dex-cool coolant

still need:
serpentine belt
autotrac 2 for the transfer-case
also getting a grease gun to grease front end.

then i should be all done maintenance wise

i dont think there is such a place.

the aftermarket bumper lights suck anyway so i will most likely just clear the factory bumper lights.

trimmed valance
and zip tied some of the plastics.

got 275/65/20 toyo a/t's for $300 with like 70% tread.

they fit with just cranked keys

:notbad: Chevys do seem to have more clearance than GMCs. My buddy's 03 hoe cleared my '14 reps and 305 trails with just stock keys turned up, no trimming at all

Buy some Eskys and just get them *color* matched. They don't sell them pre painted anymore

Got a link to the bowtie you bought? All of the ones I found on eBay last night were almost $60. Yours was like $30-40 right? For some reason I think I remember you posting that somewhere when you ordered it lol.
