New from NJ

I say Trenton on the forums so no one knows where I live. :) Lawrence.

Core is back up and running. Wow, $259 plus shipping for the shifter. But they are the only game in town.

LED conversion seems like more of a pain to do than just the regular bulbs. I assume they dim as well?

for the cluster, they dim to a point then they shut off.

and your not far from me, about 30 min. you far from route 1?

and im going down past there tonight to go to the races.

The led conversion on 03+ is just as much work as changing the stock bulbs since they are soldered to the board. No simple bulb swap on the 03+ models.

Yup. I just meant that dealing with bulbs and resistors or whatever seemed like more work than dealing with reg bulbs. I am not sure I have a steady enough hand for this job. :)

Well if you do like i plan to you can use led strip and it already has the resistors attached. Then your only making 1 or 2 solder points. Even with factory replacement bulbs you'll have to desolder the old ones and solder in each new one.

I'd be interested to see that. I have done quite a few searches but didn't come across anything using strip based LEDs.
