Pioneer H/U questions

The 8400 is a great unit but I'd rather have the avic-x9400 personally. Nav is awesome to have. And don't say the iPhone is as good for the nav cause it uses so much damn data

I vote pioneer 4300, 7" screen and its got an SD slot so you can upload pictures as a background, amazon they are like $400..it will be my next double din

Isn't that unit dated?

I don't need nav, my phone works great. I use Google Maps, no need for Nav. I couldn't find that unit thought. Link?

How much of a difference will the picture be from these two units???

P8400BH
VGA (800x400)

P4400BH
QVGA (480x240)

and what is this good for? (I'm not tech savvy)
SD/SDHC Memory Card Slo??? Comes on 8400, but not 4400

8400 is detachable too, not a bad idea when I'm in the ghetto.

I don't know how long the 4300 has been out but I bought mine brand new from an audio store in February. They still had them displayed so can't be too old.

Pretty sure Best Buy has em too.

Probably a dumb question, can you switch songs manually with your iPod on this unit without using the interface? I don't know jack about Audio.

if you are hooking your ipod up via aux cable then yes, you can manually select with le ipod, otherwise with usb interface, you are controlling with the deck and the ipod will have a little pioneer logo on the screen and its locked out
