Post the Truck you just cant quit looking at:

Front end would be too heavy.
This. Imo, you're better off just dropping in a all aluminum motor and go from there. The point of auto x is to save weight and have it distributed correctly, vs adding a boat anchor under the hood

Quoted with pic because i love it.

oh i know its not a great truck to start with but a c10 or camaro also isn't great if your comparing it too a miata.

there is a f250 that does auto cross.

i think it would be a fun project small twin kit to spool quick and besides that just try make it handle as good as possible.

Me too. If I had a need for one, could find a decent service body and figure out how to make it work on that old frame, I'd consider keeping the longbed

It could be done, but you'd need to put quite a bit of ballast at the rear to help balance it. With the power you can make, the heavy weight wouldn't be the end of the world if it's close to even front/rear

I just like odd/different/unique things. I have absolutely no need for one so I won't go that route but it's still freakin cool as hell. Thing's got Poterbuilt front/rear air ride and a 6.0 in it

Damn. Thats badass. The green turd barely has enough power to pull itself. its even cammed with headers. Granted theres ALOT of weight in the back, especially when full of fuel

Looks good laid out but I bet it looks weird aired up. 28s are too big for rcsb imo. 6s at most. 28s belong on bodied nnbs or 14+ ccsb imo.

From the cruise in:
This truck was just redone. Was esky clipped. A guy and his brother own it, and one of them passed away recently so the other brother redid it to memorialize him. Bodied on 26's.

:jelly: of local car meets/cruises. We don't have anything like that here. Every now and then in the summer a local church has a car show and it's decent. All old stuff. But there are almost no bagged or even lowered trucks here and they few that are are backyard hack jobs mostly.

Yeah there's 1 lowered rcsb nbs by me and that's it. Pretty clean too, but the guy doesn't take it to shows at all.

This. Very little well done lowered trucks here. Plenty of old cars restored or resto-modded, a few trucks with a simple drop kit, but nothing bagged or extreme

There were alot of cool vehicles. And it was sunny and in the 60's. Can't wait to cruise in the C10 to them. That black yukon came from out west, the guy bought it not long ago. Crazy seeing one laid out and you can see the entire top of the roof lol.
