Well if you drive the shit outta it I would rec something around the 224ish range for a stock 4.8. You'll need a whole cam install kit(rods, springs, retainers). Lots of other stuff that can be done while your in there too.
Doesnt make sense to me to buy a cam and buy all the parts for heads...might as well just put heads on(that way you can repalce lifters(stockers love to fail in stock power levels). 2300 will get you built prc heads loaded with dual springs etc. Cam with install kit is $800, heads are 2300, headers will be $400. = 3500 for probably like 320 wheel. O plus a good circle d triple disc will run you $1000 bucks
on a 4.8 i would keep the money for cam and spend 5k and put a trick turbo or kn\b racing setup. Will make probably 100+ more rwhp, and be better on fuel when out of boost. Cost is 4000$ plus injectors and exhaust hookup. 4.8's love boost, and lots of happy customers running 425 wheel conservatively
