I've just installed a after market trans cooler on my 05 GMC. In the winter months should I cover up the trans cooler with something so that the trans doesn't run to cold?
I believe you can buy a bypass and that would resolve your problem in the winter months. Don't have that problem in the south, so not 100% sure, just going off what I've read.
