Should I go 1" lower or no?

Just do spindles and 2" coils and go get a good alignment. Most people can get damn near perfect alignments at 4" iirc.

Aaight. Well I have spindles and 1" coils. Just gotta buy the 2" ones and swap it out and sell others.

I guess it's possible but I wouldn't think you would have any problems..when I had the ltz's on mine at 5.5/9.5 with 275/45s they tucked all the way around and only rubbed inside the fenders on hard dips..

Ok, well shit if u were that low with them sounds like I'm good. If I can't find anyone local with a 1" or 2" drop shackle I'll buy mcgaughys ones I just found on eBay for $20.

I'm gonna drop the back soon and get the coils at some point.

Lol 5/8 never. There's several places I can think of that I go now that I couldn't do at 5/8. I dealt with rubbing tires for years when I had my hoe and I ain't doin that again.

I figured out the lean is in the back not the front, so I'm gonna swap to 2" coils and run a 1" drop shackle on right rear and stock shackle on left rear and it'll be perfectly level.

Haha, hoe was clean..you wouldn't believe how I can drive at all if you saw the roads and parking lots around here lol it definitely takes a lot of getting used to and very careful driving

The reason your brother or friend caught lip with his 22" LTZ is cause they are +31 on a 22x9 not +31 on a 20x8.5 luke stock wheels which make them really close to flush. But with your wheels being 22x9.5 and having a +30 offset doesn't that mean your wheels stick out flush with fender? Cause if my buddys ecsb 22x9 +32 stick in tiny bit more than mine so you have lower offset meaning they dont tuck as much....

And these guys are right anything above 4.5" you don't really need to roll and minitub but with your wheels being like they are if I'm not wrong I might be.. you would need to roll them and not go past 4" drop. I mean I'm 6.5" on 22x9 +31 and minitubbed/rolled and I drive it, scrub rub amd all that but its fine... also flipping UCA is one of the best things I did ever cause afterwards it felt so much smoother cause they never bind up anymore... also just look into a belltech camber kit is close to $75 iirc and you get new cam plates and cam bushing that give you 2 degrees more adjustment. If they got my truck like 1* from stock they can do yours.

I just got a good look at it and there's no way the lip could hit fender on mine.

And as far as the upper arms go, I wouldn't need to flip them at 4" right? I mean I can see why you did being 6.5 but it rides damn good and doesn't bind at 3 so the 1" should make it any different.

Offset is +31mm on those

So couldn't I have the same trouble being mine are 9.5" wide and +30mm?

You all are talking about 3 completely different wheels here
ltz 20's are +30mm on 8.5" wide
ltz 22's are +31mm on 9" wide
his are +30mm on 9.5" wide

Dakota's wheels are a full 1/2" more inward than yours. yours stick out 1/4" more than yours buddies. so if your buddy is rubbing on the same size tire, you will rub worse if you and your buddy has the same hub to fender measurements.

Looks like there's no way I could rub at 4". Seeing as how the tire is a good 1/2" inside the fender lip as it sits.

Tukn4s - I'm having trouble distinguishing who is him, you, and his buddy in your post.

Brett is by far the most educated and experienced person on this site with wheel and drop setups and backspacing. You won't find anyone else as willing to help either if your willing to learn.

Ok, I understand what you're saying now. Maybe I have a tiny bit more camber? We both got them aligned at the same place and if u look at the pic I posted you can see there's no way I could rub so it shouldn't at 4 either
